Welcoming Our Sweetest Gift Yet

This summer, our family received the most precious gift of all, our first grandchild. Little Roper James, named after my late father, arrived a bit earlier than expected, spending some time in the NICU before coming home. Now he is healthy, strong, and already has everyone in the family wrapped around his tiny fingers.

Becoming a Mimi has filled my heart in ways I never imagined. There is something so special about seeing your own child become a parent, and watching the love grow in our family with each passing day.

It has also been so much fun watching Madeline step into her new role as an aunt. She is beyond excited and could not wait to hold her nephew for the first time. I know she will be the kind of aunt who spoils him, cheers him on, and tells him all the fun family stories.

This beautiful addition to our family has given me a new perspective on what we do at Tip Top Holiday Shop. I think about the parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles who will open gifts chosen by the children they love. I imagine the smiles, the laughter, and the “how did you know I wanted this?” moments. Those are the memories that last forever.

This holiday season, I know I will be treasuring each moment a little more, especially with our newest family member in the mix.
